Fundraising

The Politics of Food Conference a huge success!
Thanks so much to our donors who made this conference happen for GreenRight.

After accomplishing a major networking goal with the Politics of Food Conference this past fall, we're moving on to tackle even bigger goals in the New Year. In addition to more important networking and training events to come, we need your help to raise the funds necessary for a variety of items including: state and federal incorporation, a USPTO service mark application, as well as the purchase of our domain name. Too, we will be launching different fundraising drives/events that require initial costs such as marketing, display, production, shipping, etc. With your generous support, we can accomplish these important goals as well!

Therefore, please make a donation today!

While we recognize that your contribution may seem like just a drop in the bucket, too small to make a difference, please know that every little bit helps and is deeply appreciated. In fact, our typical donation is only $25, though each has added up to help make a significant impact!

Donations

Please check our donations tabulator in the left side bar to see how much in cash donations has been raised thus far. GreenRight is also currently receiving (or will receive) several valuable in-kind donations including: graphic design, web development & hosting, legal council, and real-estate services.

Although GreenRight will achieve non-stock corporation status within the state of Virginia in the near future, it will be several months before 501(c)(3) status can be obtained and therefore, regretfully, your donation today is not tax deductible. Please bear in mind however that while we cannot yet offer this instant return on your investment, there will be many greater benefits to come in the long term - to the individual, society, and the planet all three - and therefore we encourage patience and thus long-term gratification.

Accountability

A snapshot (or in some cases a detailed report) of each project and/or event - including what professional training was acquired, and what contacts were made and are being cultivated - will be posted on our site.

A BB&T checking account has been created solely for organizational purposes/activities. This has been done to ensure that there is absolutely no confusion between personal and organizational funds/expenses.

Although we had planned to post GreenRight's account statements on our site in order to provide complete transparency of donor funds, we have reconsidered due to privacy issues. If there are any questions and concerns here, please contact our Director directly via the information listed on our Contact page.
